Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. These terms govern your use of JurisOptima's website and legal services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to any specific engagement letter or agreement signed between us.

01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the JurisOptima website and services, including the client portal at app.jurisoptima.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JurisOptima.

02Who We Are

These terms are an agreement between you and Jurisoptima Legal Chambers, 2nd Floor, RR Signature, Chokkanahalli, Bengaluru (referred to as JurisOptima, we or us). You can reach us at [email protected]. Our Grievance Officer is Samundeswari N.

03Description of Services

JurisOptima provides legal services including but not limited to: legal consultation, police station accompaniment, legal notice drafting, court document services, case filing, case response and defense, and full legal representation. All services are provided by qualified advocates enrolled with the Bar Council of India and are subject to professional regulations under the Advocates Act, 1961.

We also operate a client portal at app.jurisoptima.com where you can request a callback, describe your matter, upload documents, pay the call fee and follow the status, notes and money statement of each matter.

04Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete information regarding your legal matters, including a phone number we can reach you on; (b) respond promptly to requests for information or documents; (c) attend scheduled appointments and court dates; (d) pay agreed fees in a timely manner; (e) maintain confidentiality of privileged communications; (f) not use our services for any unlawful purpose or to pursue frivolous claims; (g) upload only documents you are entitled to share with us.

05Fees and Payments

Call fee. To request a callback through the portal you pay a ₹200 call fee by UPI before we call. The call fee books a phone consultation and a cost estimate. It is not legal advice on the merits of your matter, and paying it does not start any work or oblige us to take your matter.

Further fees. After the call we quote our professional fees and any court fees, stamp duty or other disbursements in writing. Work starts only after you agree to the quote. Nothing beyond the call fee is charged without your agreement.

Adjustment and refunds. If you proceed, the call fee is deducted from your fees. If you decline the estimate, or we cannot take your matter, it is refunded in full. Partial refunds, timelines and the credit we hold when we cannot reach you are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Payment records. Payments are made by UPI to the account shown on the pay page, quoting the reference shown there. Every charge, payment, credit and refund is itemised on the money statement in your portal. We may pause work while agreed fees remain unpaid.

Taxes. No GST is currently charged on the call fee or on our professional fees. If that changes, the tax will be shown before you pay.

06No Guarantee of Outcome

While we commit to providing competent and diligent legal services, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome in your legal matter. The outcome of legal proceedings depends on various factors including the facts of the case, applicable law, court discretion, and actions of other parties. Any discussion of potential outcomes is based on our professional judgment and should not be construed as a guarantee.

07Confidentiality

All communications between you and JurisOptima are protected by advocate-client privilege as per the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules. We will maintain strict confidentiality of all information shared with us, including documents uploaded to the portal, except where disclosure is required by law, court order, or with your express consent.

08Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of JurisOptima and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Legal documents prepared for your specific matter belong to you upon payment of applicable fees.

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JurisOptima and its advocates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time with reasonable notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees for services rendered up to the date of termination, and any refund due is handled under the Refund Policy. We will provide you with your documents and files upon request and payment of any outstanding fees. Certain ongoing matters may require court permission for withdrawal.

11Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, where our registered office is located. This clause shall not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim relief from any court of competent jurisdiction.

12Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or direct notification. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The services provided are subject to the Advocates Act, 1961, Bar Council of India Rules, and all applicable laws and regulations governing legal practice in India.
